Happy New Year / Into 2025

2024 was a significant year artistically, with the release of my first studio album in nearly a decade, and also my first ever vinyl album release. This was accompanied by three ‘hit singles’ from the record, as well as a ‘hit Christmas single’ if the stats are to be believed! Of course, the stats are irrelevant to us independent artists… or so our bank balance tells us anyway! 😉

All these singles had films or videos to go with them. After many years out of the creative spotlight (due to reasons that you would only understand by listening to the latest album), it felt good to be back again, doing what I do best… or doing half of it… so far. The live performances didn’t happen last year, but this will change in 2025!

Thank you to all those who bought ‘For the ones we’ve lost’ in any of its formats. A special thank-you if you played it 4 times or more!

I’m seriously considering cutting out all streaming in the future (maybe even social media too) and going back to how they did it in the 1960s! Better to be an almost unattainable cult artist than what passes for modern day mega stardom, I think. Quality and mystery, not quantity and overexposure, right? 😉

Anyway, a MASSIVE thank you/muchas gracias to all those who actively supported me in 2024… You know who you are! 💜
